Small little somethings for the wedding. Been a little elf for the past few days.
The sisters are teasing the boys out there now. Super funny as I hear the happenings.
The Ang pow box and the guest book.
Little bits of the guest book with small little quotes around the pages which I didn't take any pictures of.
These are the bruids suiker. Bridal sweets from Netherlands.
All done with the help of my mum and aunt.
And errr. Something unglam. I need to pee badly! Argh.

It's Thursday night. It's been a long day with the day ending at the airport while we fetch me aunt and uncle.
They just settled down and my nice aunt is helping me work on the bridesmaid corsages.
Pretty blue roses made with love!
We made a whole bunch of roses only to realize that it's nicer when it's one big roses.
And yup, the corsages are ready for the big day!

i guess.. through all the preparation, i also come to realize the fact that the wedding is a day and the marriage is forever.. so i kinda stopped stressing myself and freak out over matters of the wedding. Also, i have been so tired lately, i'm being sweeped into a sleepy spell. i think its an aftermath of being over-worked!
i never really created a to-do list here, so i better list down the items that i feel like doing (some are not necessary). If i could achieve them all, good for me. if not, life goes on and i should just focus on enjoying the big day and the honeymoon there after!
here's the list:
(1) sending out the AD programme to the relevant people. pardon me, but i just got this done last night..after numerous times of bugging from my emcee who is real anxious about the program. i had it at the back of my head and didn't have the time to type it out..
(2) bridesmaid act - i need to do something about this!
(3)guest list (forever changing). it has become something of a daily maintenance.
(4) bridesmaid corsages. i want to make them myself to fit it into the theme. the ones from the bridal studio are crappy..
(5) house moving. this consist of bags and bags being carried over to the next block every time i make a trip there. not so worried because it's just a min away. could easily pop back for anything.
(6) packing/wrapping the bruids suiker (bridal sweets) from netherlands. this is a dutch tradition and tho i am no where near a dutch bride, my aunt gave me the sweets as a wedding gift and i'm gonna share it with everyone at the wedding! cannot wait to see them when my cousin arrives tomorrow morning (in the wee hours of the morning).
(7)decorating the ang pow box. this is on the least priority list, but i have bought many scrap-booking materials and i thought it would be fun and de-stressing to work on it.
(8) the wedding songs. argh. no time to listen to them yet..
(9)EDM - reminder to be sent out to all guests.
(10) thank you edm - i won't be around to thank the guests after the wedding so i wanted to send them one to thank them for coming and their thoughtful gifts.
(11) collection of wine.. heavy duty work.
(12) booking a caterer for my mum for the relatives. giving me headache cos my neighbours are invited and they are halal folks, reducing the amount of choices i have.
(13) Emcee briefing. am doing it this afternoon!
(14) selection of 6 images for the hotel to play on their LED screens.
(15) Booking my manicure session!
(16) final fitting.
and i think that's about it...
there are just so many little nitty gritty stuff that needs to be looked into.. it's a FULL-TIME job to get it done.
i'm just glad i'm at the end of the journey and 8 more days to the HONEYMOON!

Came home the other day and saw a big parcel on my bed.
Had to crop out the address!
The present that came in a nice miffy rabbit wrapper and a toy story 3 lenticular card that made me dizzy.
The back of the card, revealing the sender.
Tah-dah! Its a digital photo frame that comes with swarovski crystals! Pretty pretty!
Thank you kenties. Derrie appreciates the sweet thoughts and the kind intention behind the wedding gift!
Still... Told you its the PRESENCE and not the PRESENT that we care about right. You shouldn't have! Such a pity that you wont be here.
And yup, i guess this is the answer to the question that you asked me via facebook. Sorry. Have been tired and swamped with little errands lately.
Hope to see you soon. =)
